Mercury & Venus The two inner Planets appear in this sunset photo from Dec 5th, 2003 taken from the superb Mirador de Chio site on Tenerife, located at 2050m altitude, well above the strato-cumulus cloud layer that often forms over the islands.

A rare Lenticular Cloud. The Photo captures a very rare sight. A superb example of a lenticular cloud at sunset, with the Moon present nearby. Truely one of the most fascinating sights i have ever seen. This was captured from Puerto de la Cruz in September 2002.

Sunset on September 9th, 2002. This spectacular view was obtained high on the Northern coast of Tenerife, near the town of Puerto de la Cruz. A crescent moon is also present.
