Opposition date: April 15th, 2012. Apparent Opposition Diameter: 18.98". Declination:-7°31'. Constellation: Virgo.

Instrumentation: 356mm Reflector. PGR Flea3 CCD camera.

 

Saturn, June 19th, 2012. Good seeing. A notable dark spot with bright streak alongside is prominent near the disk centre.


Saturn, June 18th, 2012. Good to excellent seeing. Various small spots visible on the disk.


Saturn, May 28th, 2012. Good seeing. Faint spots again visible in the cloud belts.


Saturn, May 13th, 2012. Good seeing. Various spots visible across the planet.


Saturn, May 12th, 2012. Fair to good seeing. Faint spots again visible across the disk.


Saturn, May 6th, 2012. Fair seeing. Some faint spots visible on the disk.


Saturn, April 21st, 2012. Excellent seeing for the altitude. Various coloured bands and zones are apparent.


Saturn, April 13th, 2012. Good seeing and only two days from opposition.


Saturn, March 12th, 2012. Good seeing but again poor transparency.


Saturn, March 1st, 2012. Good seeing but poor transparency preventing any colour imagery.
