About the DVD.

Presented here is my recently filmed DVD guide to planetary imaging. After the many requests for processing and imaging information, at the end of 2006 I decided to put together an informative guide to help both beginners and the more experienced observers with the challenging pursuit of photographing the planets. I decided the best way to present this was via the most easily accessible medium of DVD.

This DVD presents a wide range of practical information:

• Advice on telescope-related issues such as collimation and focusing.  

• Live at-the-telescope imaging, discussing high resolution imaging.   

• Discussing the effects of seeing.  

• An in-depth guide to processing  with Registax 4, using a variety of objects.
